The Grove City Welcome Center and Museum is showcasing an exhibit of Coke marketing items and collectibles from several local private collections. The FREE EXHIBIT is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The exhibit runs through Feb. 29, 2012.
The exhibit includes a 125th Coca-Cola Anniversary Lionel train, miniature village, an opportunity to arrange nine full-sized Coke bottle cutouts in the order they were introduced on the market; a television monitor playing a wide variety of Coke commercials and another depicting how the entire Coke headquarters in Atlanta was turned into a huge four-sided light show. Both television screens have sound with the special videos.
Items on display include Coke lunch boxes and trays, bottles and cans, a Coke denim jacket, card collection, 2¼ inch Coke bottle cigarette lighter and too many more to mention here. Why not stop by and see this display for yourself.
THE COCA-COLA COMPANY HAS NOT ENDORSED THIS EXHIBIT. THE GROVE CITY WELCOME CENTER AND MUSEUM AND THE GROVE CITY AREA VISITORS AND CONVENTION BUREAU ARE NOT MAKING AN ENDORSEMENT OF COKE.
COKE AND COCA-COLA ARE TRADEMARKS OF THE COCA-COLA COMPANY.
